HC Deb 14 March 1889 vol 333 cc1634-5
VISCOUNT CURZON (Bucks, Wycombe)

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will give a Return showing the amount of money voted since 1885 for the defence, including fortifications and armament, of military ports, commercial ports, and coaling stations at home and abroad, the application of the money to the various localities, and the amount still required to be expended?

THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY FOR WAR (Mr. BRODRICK,) Surrey, Guildford

If my noble Friend will look at the Memorandum attached to last year's Estimates, of which a copy shall be sent him, I think he will find all the information he requires. But, if not, perhaps he will tell me what further information he desires.
