HC Deb 11 March 1889 vol 333 cc1402-3
MR. JOHNSTON (Belfast, S.)

I beg to ask whether the Chief Secretary for Ireland can give the House any information as to the attempted assassi- nation of Mr. Creagh while driving to church with his sister in the County dare yesterday?

All the information I possess on the subject is that a dastardly attempt to murder this gentleman was made, and that he was wounded, although, fortunately, not seriously.
