HC Deb 05 March 1889 vol 333 c955
MR COBB (Warwick, S.E., Rugby)

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether, as the period has expired during which sanitary authorities can make application for Provisional Orders to acquire land compulsorily for allotments under "The Allotments Act, 1887," he can state how many of such applications have been made, and the names of the sanitary authorities making them?

* THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. RITCHIE) (Tower Hamlets, St. George's)

I have received two such applications, one from the Wayland Rural Sanitary Authority, and the other from the Shipston-on-Stour Rural Sanitary Authority.
