I beg to ask the Lord Advocate, whether the Board of Supervision have caused the fishermen's bothies on the river Tay to be inspected with reference to their sanitary state; and, whether a Report thereon has been presented to the Board; and, if so, what action, if any, is to be taken by the Board?

I am informed that the Board of Supervision have obtained a Report as to the state of these bothies, this Report which is very voluminous, is now under the consideration of the legal Members of the Board, for their opinion on the legal aspect of the matter.
