HC Deb 22 July 1889 vol 338 cc987-8
MR. MACLURE (Lancashire, S.E., Stretford)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he can consent to give an evening for the consideration of the Second Reading of the Channel Tunnel Bill?

* MR. W. H. SMITH

I am sorry to tell my hon. Friend that the time of the House is so much taken up by Government measures that I am afraid it will not be in my power to give facilities for the Second Reading of the Channel Tunnel Bill.
