§ THE VICE CHAMBERLAIN (Viscount LEWISHAM,) LewishamIt appears from the Reports which are received from time to time from Local Authorities, and from reports which are published in newspapers, that a considerable number of prosecutions are instituted for non-notification of disease. The fines have varied in different cases from 10s. to 128 £20. The Privy Council have no means of keeping a record of the prosecutions which are instituted by Local Authorities.
