HC Deb 08 July 1889 vol 337 c1683
MR. CUNINGHAME GRAHAM

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if he could appoint either a Commission or some practical person to examine into the claims of Mr. Jobson in relation to his "time fuse?"

* MR. E. STANHOPE

As I have already stated Mr. Jobson's claim to compensation for the invention of a time fuse has been reported on by a Special Committee appointed for the purpose, by the Ordnance Committee and by the Ordnance Council. They have all reported against the admissibility of the claim, and I do not think it necessary to re open the question.
