HC Deb 24 August 1889 vol 340 c373
MR. SHAW LEFEVRE (Bradford, Central)

I beg to ask the Solicitor General for Ireland whether he will lay upon the Table of the House before next Session a Return showing the cases in Ireland, since the passing of the Criminal Law and Procedure (Ireland) Act, where persons have been required to give bail for good conduct under the Statute of Edward III., showing the names, dates, and cause of summons, whether bail was given, and where not given what length of imprisonment was awarded?

THE SOLICITOR GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. MADDEN,) University of 374 Dublin

I have been able to obtain a Return. I will answer the question on Monday.
