HC Deb 12 August 1889 vol 339 c1035
MR. MUNDELLA (Sheffield, Brightside)

I beg to move that the Lords' Amendments to the Protection of Children Bill be now taken into consideration. [Cries of "No."] The Amendments passed in another place have, on the whole, very much improved the measure.

* MR. SPEAKER

The Motion can only be taken by leave of the House.

[Several hon. Members objected, and the Motion was not put].

Lords Amendment to be considered upon Wednesday, and to be printed. [Bill 372.]
