HC Deb 06 August 1889 vol 339 c543
MR. PICKERSGILL

I beg to ask the Postmaster General when he will be able to give a definite reply to the petition of the sorters employed on Sunday duty in the Circulation Department (Inland Branch), which was originally presented so long ago as 1884, and in respect of which he informed the Member for South West Bethnal Green, in June 1888, that "a decision would shortly be arrived at?"

* MR. RAIKES

The matter to which the hon. Member refers has been very fully examined by the Department, and I have now under consideration a proposal which I hope to be able to submit to the Treasury in a day or two.
