LAWSON (St. Pancras, W.)asked the President of the Board of Trade, with reference to the undertaking given by him on the 5th July last, whether he has considered the desirability of issuing Civil Service certificates to all or any of the staff of the Chief Official Receiver in Bankruptcy; and, if so, whether he is prepared to communicate to the House his decision in the matter?

Member, will not expire until the 30th September next. Before that time I shall consider the position of his staff.
