§ *THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. MATTHEWS,) Birmingham, E.I am informed by the Receiver of Police that compulsory powers have been exercised in six cases, and four cases are at present pending. The freehold properties 214 now number 121. There are 93 either held on leases or annual tenancies.
