MONTAGU (Tower Hamlets, Whitechapel)I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will now state the amount of revenue derived from the recently imposed 1s. per cent stamp duty on bonds and shares to bearer, dividing the amount derived for the six months ending 31st December, 1889, and for the three months ending 31st March last, and whether he will give the same particulars with regard to the revenue derived from the 6d. stamp duty on brokers' contracts?
