Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."

MR. T. M. HEALY (Longford, N.)

said, he believed this Bill had the approval of the Lord Chancellor of Ireland and of the Law Officers of the Irish Executive.

THE SOLICITOR GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. MADDEN) (Dublin University)

said, the Lord Chancellor, he understood, was of an opinion in which he shared—that the passing of the Bill would be an improvement in the administration of justice in Ireland.

Motion agreed to.

Bill read a second time, and committed for To-morrow.
