HC Deb 23 November 1888 vol 331 cc27-8
MR. J. E. ELLIS (Nottingham, Rushcliffe)

moved for the following Return:— The names of the Landowners the purchase of whose properties under the Land Purchase (Ireland) Act, 1885, has been sanctioned by the Irish Land Commission, with the following particulars against each name:—(a) Area of the property; (b) County in which situate; (c) Total rental; (d) Valuation; (e) Amount of purchase money; (f) Total number of holdings on the estate.

MR. T. W. RUSSELL (Tyrone, S.)

asked whether the Solicitor General for Ireland would add a column in which would appear the arrears, if any, which bad been dealt with in the present Session, as there had been a good deal of talk on that matter lately?

THE SOLICITOR GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. MADDEN) (Dublin University)

said, he was not sure whether that information would be available in the Papers which were in the possession of the Land Commission; but if it were available there would be no objection to adding it to the Return.

Motion agreed to.
