§ THE SECRETARY (Mr. JACKSON) (LEEDS, N.)It is proposed to apply the seven hours' system to the Statistical Office of the Customs upon the basis of its present establishment. The question of a new classification is being considered by the Treasury in connection with the general questions of rearrangements of staff involved in the adoption of the seven hours' system, recommended by the Royal Commission.
