§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE (Sir JAMES FERGUSSON) (Manchester, N.E.)Her Majesty's Government have no such knowledge. I am not aware that there is widespread discontent in British Guiana. The state of affairs in the disputed territory is, undoubtedly, not satisfactory; but, at present, Her Majesty's Government are not prepared to state what action may be taken to determine the question of boundary.
