HC Deb 15 May 1888 vol 326 c327
MR, HOBHOUSE (Somerset, E.)

asked Mr. Attorney General, When the Government propose to introduce their promised Bill for the appointment of an Official Trustee; if it will be introduced in this House or the House of Lords; and, if they will consider the advisability of including in it provisions to permit and facilitate the performance of the burdensome duties of Trustees by Public Companies under proper Regulations?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir RICHARD WEBSTER) (Isle of Wight)

I am informed by the First Lord of the Treasury that the Bill in question will be introduced in the House of Lords. With regard to the last part of the Question, I have no doubt the matter therein referred to will be carefully considered.
