STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)The Members of the Committee on Explosives are—Sir Frederick Abel, F.R.S., Chemist to the War Department; Professor Dewar, F.R.S., Professor of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and at the Royal Institution; and Dr. Dupré, F.R.S., Consulting Chemist to the Home Office on Explosives. They are, during the present week, making experiments with shell charged with high explosives.
