HC Deb 10 May 1888 vol 325 c1802
MR. BRADLAUGH (Northampton)

asked the Postmaster General, Whether there has been a vacancy in the office of Postmaster at Haverfordwest since October, 1887; and, whether any, and what, steps are being taken to fill the vacancy?

THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. RAIKES) (Cambridge University)

I have taken steps for filling up the vacancy at Haverfordwest by the appointment of an officer of experience whom I consider qualified for the duties; but I am awaiting the result of certain inquiries before carrying the arrangement into effect.
