HC Deb 10 May 1888 vol 325 cc1824-5
MR. HANDEL COSSHAM (Bristol, E.)

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether the Government could obtain and give the House a Return of the number of public-houses owned by brewers in half a-dozen typical towns in England and Wales?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. MATTHEWS) (Birmingham, E.),

in reply, said, he was making inquiries as to the possibility of giving such a Return, as to which he could not say he hoped to do so. Perhaps the hon. Member would repeat his Question.

MR. HANDEL COSSHAM

said, he would do so.
