§ THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir RICHARD WEBSTER) (Isle of Wight)If, as I imagine, the Question of the hon. Member refers to the municipal franchise, the service franchise is not included in the occupation franchise. The reason is that the service franchise was created by the Act of 1884; and the language, as the hon. Member will find, is different from that of the Municipal Corporation Act of 1882.
