CONYBEARE (Cornwall, Camborne)wished to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland a Question of which he had given him private Notice—namely, Whether it was a fact, as stated in that day's papers, that Mr. Roche, of Woodford, now imprisoned under the Coercion Act, was seriously ill, suffering from acute lung disease; and, whether he could state that proper means were being, or would be, taken to prevent this gentleman being tortured to death?
