HC Deb 22 March 1888 vol 324 c50
MR. FIRTH (Dundee)

asked Mr. Attorney General, Whether his attention has been drawn to a Petition, recently presented to the Lord Chancellor, in reference to delays in the conduct of business in the City of London Court; and, whether he is able to say whether the Government intend to take any action in the matter?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir RICHARD WEBSTER) (Isle of Wight)

My attention has been called to the Petition referred to in the Question of the hon. Member. It is certainly signed by gentlemen who have great experience with reference to business in the City of London Court. The matter is under the consideration of the Lord Chancellor, and I will see that the attention of the City Authorities is also called to the Petition.
