§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. MATTHEWS) (Birmingham, E.)I am informed by the Commissioners of Police that Sergeant Flood received pay under the letter and number 98A up to 860 November 20, 1887. The pay-sheets of the Criminal Investigation Department contain Flood's name up to November 20 under this number and letter. His signature is on a separate document, as he was abroad.
