MR.PICKERSGILL (Bethnal Green, S. W.)

asked the hon. Member for the Knutsford Division of Cheshire, as the Representative of the Metropolitan Board of Works, Whether he can state when the London Coal and Wine Duties Continuance Bill will be printed and issued to Members; whether he is aware that what purport to be clauses in the Bill are now being circulated among Local Boards in the outside area; and, whether this is being done by the direction of the Metropolitan Board of Works?

MR. TATTON EGERTON (Cheshire, Knutsford)

, in reply, said, the Bill would be printed and distributed very shortly. Draft clauses had been distributed to the authorities of the Urban and Rural Sanitary Districts outside the Metropolitan area, but within the Metropolitan Police District, with the assent of the Metropolitan Board of Works.
