DR. TANNER (Cork Co., Mid)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If it is a fact that a new police barrack is in course of construction in the town of Macroom; whether the Chairman of Quarter Sessions at the past two Sessions was presented with a pair of white gloves; and, if he can state the reason for this increase of the police accommodation in the district?
