TUITE (Westmeath, N.)asked the Secretary to the Treasury, What is the cause of the delay in carrying out the recommendations contained in the Report of the Committee of Inquiry into the Statistical Department of the Customs; and, whether, in the retirements which may be necessary in carrying out the recommendations of that Report, the same Rule will be applied as laid down by the Treasury for the recent changes in the Inland Revenue?
