TANNER (Cork Co., Mid)said, it would be greatly for the convenience of many Members who took a deep interest in the subject to know exactly when Committee on the Criminal Evidence Bill would be resumed. It had been postponed till Monday, but he should be glad to have an assurance as to whether it was really proposed to take it on that day?
§ THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. JACKSON) (Leeds, N.)could 1674 only say that he was afraid it would not be possible to take the Bill on that day.
