asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether prisoners sentenced under the Criminal Law and Procedure (Ireland) Act have to pick oakum and break stones like other prisoners; and, whether the prisoners undergoing these sentences with hard labour have an extra allowance of food to those undergoing sentences without hard labour?
