THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. J. H. A. MACDONALD) (Edinburgh and St. Andrew's Universities)

No, Sir.

MR. HUNTER

asked the Lord Advocate, whether the Government had taken pains to ascertain whether the gentlemen who had been appointed Commissioners had any practical experience of the Scottish Universities; and if not, on what mode they had proceeded?

[No reply.]
