HC Deb 19 July 1888 vol 328 c1757
SIR GEORGE ELLIOT (Monmouth, &c.)

asked the First Commissioner of Works, Whether he has yet been able to make arrangements for the sittings of the County Court at Newport (Monmouthshire)?

THE FIRST COMMISSIONER (Mr. PLUNKET) (Dublin University)

I am glad to say that I have made arrangements for the sittings of the Court satisfactory to all parties, and at a very small cost. This is mainly due to the fair spirit in which I have been met by the County Court Judge, the magistrates, and the Town Council of Newport.
