MR. HOWELL (Bethnal Green, N.E.)

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he will lay upon the Table of this House a Copy of the Police Orders, dated Friday, 20th July, 1886, with the following heading:— Metropolitan Police Office. Meeting in Hyde Park. Reform League. The following notice has been issued by the Chief Commissioner," and signed "Richard Mayne, the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis.

There was a public notice issued on the 17th of July, 1866. If this is what the hon. Member referred to, I shall have no objection to laying it upon the Table of the House. I am not aware of any other Order of that date.
