HC Deb 10 February 1888 vol 322 c150
SIR WILLIAM EWART (Belfast, N.)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If it is the intention of the Government to bring in a Bill to provide for the establishment of Local Bankruptcy Courts in Ireland?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR) (Manchester, E.)

In answer to my hon. Friend, I may say that it is the intention of the Government to bring in a Bill of the kind he alludes to; but, on the whole, I think it will be more convenient to introduce it in the House of Lords.
