asked Mr. Solicitor General for Ireland, Whether the Government would prepare, during the Recess, and lay on the Table of the House, a Return containing the recommendations of the Royal Commission with regard to the treatment of prisoners in Irish prisons in Ireland?

, in reply, said, the hon. Member was entitled to the Return for which he asked; but, in the absence of his right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary for Ireland, he could not at present say what precise form the Return should take.
