HC Deb 13 December 1888 vol 332 cc98-9
THE LORD MAYOR OF DUBLIN (Mr. SEXTON) (Belfast, W.)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, When the remaining Irish Votes in Supply will be taken?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR) (Manchester, E.)

, in reply, said, he was not in a position to say when the consideration of the Irish Estimates would be resumed. It would be well that the Question should be addressed to the first Lord of the Treasury.

MR. SEXTON

inquired, if the Chief Secretary could obtain an answer from the Leader of the House?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)

said, that, owing to the condition of Public Business, he was not in a position to name a day. Of course he would be glad to give the hon. Gentleman all the information in his power.

MR. SEXTON

Will the right hon. Gentleman be able to tell us before the 18th instant?

MR. W. H. SMITH

Yes.
