THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. STUART-WORTLEY)(who replied) said (Sheffield, Hallam)Yes, Sir; there will be a vacancy, and it has been filled by the appointment of the Senior Assistant Inspector. The Secretary of State will be happy to give full consideration to the claims of Scotch candidates for the Assistant Inspectorship which will thus be vacant.
