HC Deb 03 December 1888 vol 331 cc975-6

Order for resuming Adjourned Debate on Second Reading [10th August] read.

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. JACKSON) (Leeds, N.)

said, he hoped the House would agree to the second reading. The Bill made no alteration in the number or salaries of Divisional Magistrates.

MR. T. M. HEALY (Longford, N.)

said, he would remind the hon. Gentleman that Irish Members had reason in connection with this subject to be dissatisfied with the answers they had received in reference to Captain Plunkett. Waiting about the Law Courts, he might as well be at home, and Irish Members were anxious he should be.

Debate farther adjourned till Tomorrow.
