CHAMBERLAIN (Birmingham, W.)asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether the Lord Chancellor and the President of the Board of Trade have considered the Draft Rules under section 122 of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1883," prepared by the Departmental Committee appointed last year, and laid upon the Table of the House; and, whether the Lord Chancellor and President of the Board of Trade propose to proceed with such Rules?
§ THE PRESIDENT (Sir MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH) (Bristol, W.)in reply, said, it was the intention of the Lord Chancellor to proceed with those Rules. The reason for delay was that they had been communicated by Circular to the County Court Judges, and numerous conflicting observations had been made in reply.
