asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, How many horses a farmer may buy and sell within one year without incurring liability for a horsedealer's licence?

No limit will be placed under the Bill to the number of horses bought and sold by a farmer, so long as such horses (1) are used solely for purposes of husbandry; (2) have been bred on his farm; or (3) have been purchased when under two years of age.
