§ THE SECRETARY (Mr. JACKSON) (Leeds, N.)Two Dock Companies have received loans under the Colonial Docks Act, the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Company and the Anglo-Maltese Hydraulic Dock Company. The former received a loan of £12,000 in 1864, which has been paid off, and a second of £20,000 in 1885; the latter received a loan of £20,000 in 1873, the security in each case being a mortgage of the property.
