HC Deb 20 April 1888 vol 325 c11
MR. BRADLAUGH (Northampton)

asked the President of the Local Government Board, Whether the Royal Commission on Market Rights and Tolls has applied to the Treasury to sanction the appointment of Assistant Commissioners to inquire into the working of the markets in Ireland; and whether the vacancy created by the resignation of the hon. Member for Londonderry has yet been filled up?

THE PRESIDENT (Mr. RITCHIE) (Tower Hamlets, St. George's)

The Royal Commission have informed the Treasury that sanction will shortly be required for the appointment of two Assistant Commissioners to inquire into the working of the markets in Ireland. Her Majesty has approved the proposed appointment of the successor to the hon.
