(for Mr. COGHILL) (Newcastle-under-Lyme)asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether his attention has been directed to an article in Blackwood's Magazine for April on the Police of the North Sea; and, whether any steps are being taken to abrogate the Anglo-French Fisheries Convention, 1839, and the Regulations framed thereunder, and to extend the North Sea Convention to the seas between Great Britain and France, in substitution for the Anglo-French Fisheries Convention, 1867, as contemplated by section 24 of "The Sea Fisheries Act, 1883?"
