§ THE PRESIDENT (Mr. RITCHIE) (Tower Hamlets, St. George's)There will be no indisposition on the part of the Government to assent to an amendment of the Local Government Bill to the effect that Section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act shall be excepted from the provisions of that Act which are to apply to the elections of the new Councils proposed to be constituted.
