acquainted the House that he had received through the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, a communication from the German Ambassador in London, which he felt sure that the House would wish him to read:— The Imperial German Parliament passed a Resolution unanimously at their sitting of the 19th instant, to the effect that the expressions of veneration for our deceased Monarch, and of participation in the grief of the German People manifested by the House of Commons, have called forth the deepest sympathy and the liveliest gratitude throughout Germany, and constitute a signal proof of the friendly relations existing between the two Peoples.
