asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, If the Government will, during the Recess, consider the advisability of bringing in a Bill to consolidate and amend the law relating to women and children?

, in reply, said, he was not quite sure that he understood correctly to what branch of the law the hon. Gentleman's Question referred; but he would be happy to consider any proposal which might be made to carry out the object which the hon. Gentleman had in view.
