HC Deb 17 May 1887 vol 315 c256
MR. HERMON-HODGE (Lancashire, Accrington)

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to grant any pay, or make any allowances to, members of the Yeomanry Cavalry attending the approaching Review at Aldershot?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)

This matter has been very carefully considered; and it has been decided that it is not possible to give any extra allowance to regiments of Yeomanry Cavalry for attending the Royal Review at Aldershot.
