asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether he can give the House any information as to the existence and magnitude of an "Unacknowledged Floating Debt" which has been incurred by the Egyptian Government, according to the statement of Mr. Wilfrid Blunt in The Times newspaper of 11th May?

The Egyptian Government have no ''Unacknowledged Floating Debt," and are entirely free from advances in account current from banks or other establishments of credit.
