§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OP STATE (Sir JOHN GORST) (Chatham)The Maharajah Dhuleep Singh is not himself at present drawing any allowance from the Indian Government, he having some months ago refused to do so. A portion of his stipend is being paid, with his consent, to the Maharanee and her family. If the latter part of the Question refers to his geographical position, I do not know; but his legal and political position is altogether unaltered.
