HC Deb 25 March 1887 vol 312 c1464

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."—(SIR Charles Forster.)

DR. TANNER: (Cork Co., Mid)

I have given Notice of my intention to move the rejection of this Bill, and I find that Notices to a similar effect have been given by two other hon. Members—the hon. Member for East Northampton (Mr. Channing) and the hon. and gallant Member for the Hornsey Division of Middlesex (Sir James M'Garel-Hogg). Under these circumstances, I hope that the second reading will be postponed.

Bill to be read a second time upon Friday.
